Synchronized Skiers Take Stage at Aspen Mountain
Synchronized skiers take stage at Aspen Mountain Again. In unison.
The Telluride Ghostriders are the champions of the 2016 World Synchro Ski Championships.
After finishing second the last two years, the Ghostriders prevailed over nine other teams Saturday at Aspen
Mountain. The synchro ski teams consist of six to eight professional ski instructors. They competed in the
featured synchronized skiing competition Saturday after a bump competition and ski race Friday.

The Ghostriders, as the top synchro team, clinched the 2016 title.
Seventy percent of the team’s score comes from the synchro division.
Second overall went to Argenteam, a group of Argentine ski instructors at the
Ski and Snowboard School of Aspen/Snowmass.
Third overall went to the Whistler Demo Team from Canada.
Whistler also was the top bumps team in the two-day competition.
The Aspen Demo Team was the top race team.
In individual honors, Tim Cafe was the top male racer.
Luciana Salgado was the top female racer.
Emilie Tait-Jamiesen w
as the top female bump skier.
JS Forget was the top male bump skier.
